Job Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the overall upkeep, safety, and functionality of residential and commercial properties. This role involves a wide variety of tasks including troubleshooting, routine preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs across multiple trades. The ideal candidate is a "Jack of All Trades" with high attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plumbing: Repair or replace faucets (Moen, Delta, Kohler), fix leaky toilets, clear clogged drains, and troubleshoot garbage disposals (InSinkErator).
Electrical: Replace light fixtures, outlets, switches, and ceiling fans. Troubleshoot minor circuit issues and reset breakers.
HVAC (Basic): Perform seasonal maintenance, including filter changes and coil cleaning. Troubleshoot thermostats (Nest, Honeywell) and identify system malfunctions.
Make-Readies / Turns: Efficiently prep vacant units for new tenants, including wall patching, painting, flooring repair, and deep cleaning.
