About the Role Join the dedicated team at EagleStar Property Care LLC, a trusted provider of comprehensive property maintenance and repair services in the Austin area. As an HVAC Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning solutions to residential customers and select light-commercial properties. Our company is built on principles of integrity, superior craftsmanship, and authentic customer relationships.

In this position, you'll go beyond basic repairs to solve real problems, improve energy efficiency, and enhance overall home comfort for our clients. We seek a skilled professional who values precision, prioritizes safety, and takes pride in completing every job correctly the first time while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Valid state-required HVAC technician certification or license
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Clean criminal background check
  • Must be drug-free

Preferred Qualifications:

  • EPA certification for handling refrigerants
  • Hands-on experience with modern HVAC technologies, including smart/home automation system integration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular preventive maintenance on residential HVAC units, such as inspecting, cleaning, and replacing components like filters, belts, motors, and more to promote long-term system reliability.
  • Accurately diagnose a wide range of issues — from mechanical and electrical faults to refrigerant problems — and recommend the best repair strategies.
  • Perform repairs safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry codes, regulations, and company quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, clearly explaining problems, proposed fixes, and ongoing maintenance suggestions in simple, approachable language.
  • Keep thorough, accurate records of all service visits, including observations, parts used, and completed work.
  • Respond quickly to service requests to provide timely relief for heating and cooling issues.
  • Test, calibrate, and verify equipment performance to ensure it meets manufacturer standards and operates at peak efficiency.
  • Spot potential upgrades or enhancements that can boost energy savings, comfort levels, and overall system performance.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members, sharing expertise and supporting one another on challenging projects while maintaining top safety and service standards.
  • Represent the company's core values of honesty, dependability, and professionalism in every client interaction.

Ideal Candidate Profile We're searching for a seasoned HVAC technician with strong expertise in residential (and some light-commercial) systems, covering maintenance, troubleshooting, and full repairs. You should feel confident working with mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration components, as well as interpreting schematics and technical drawings. While EPA certification and an active HVAC license are highly preferred, we welcome driven individuals who are pursuing these credentials and eager to grow with our team.

If you're passionate about quality work, customer satisfaction, and making a positive impact on people's daily comfort, we invite you to bring your skills to EagleStar Property Care LLC — where service excellence and trust are at the core of what we do!
